Amanda and I had the great privilege of attending a conference put on for new missionaries with One Hope Canada last week. It was held at Valley View Bible Camp close to Macgregor. We had over 26 missionaries there from across the country! It is so cool to gather with people with the same passion and mission in presenting the gospel in camp ministry! We made new friends from BC, Quebec, Ontario, and Nova Scotia!
Our national director was the main speaker, and he gave such an encouraging word on focusing in on Jesus first. As we pursue him with everything we have, the overflow of that relationship will automatically pour out into every area of our lives!! So Jesus first, and that will help you tackle whats second, third, fourth and fifth on your list! The camp ministry world is so intensive in many ways, its always a good and timely reminder to remain steadfast in Christ!
It was a blessing to have the month of October off to catch up on some much missed Brogan time! Today is my first day back and i'm looking forward to the challenging work load i have over the next few months.
Some super exciting news from Gimli Bible Camp... is that we are looking to bring on staff... a full time male discipleship director! The job posting will be coming soon. One of the best things about Gimli Bible Camp is our desire and heart to follow up and disciple our kids who come from unbelieving families. It's costly, but so worth it!!
